We would like to invite those that would like to assist with the work of
silentlambs for a conference to be held in Nashville , TN , March 27-28.
The purpose of the conference is to brainstorm some new ideas for
proactive work concerning abuse awareness. In addition, you will be able to
meet the silentlambs board of directors as well as interact with others that
are interested in advocacy for protecting children. The program will be at a
hotel nearby the airport so you will not need to worry about renting a car and
will conclude by 1 PM on Sunday the 28th . We also will have a dinner
on Saturday evening with presentation of silentlambs “courage” awards for
those nominated over the course of the last few months. Those that made
nominations as well as those that will be presented are invited to attend. We

“How We Can Help Combat Ignorance and Apathy When it relates to Child Abuse” There will be a press conference in the Bell Meade Room at 10:30 AM Saturday Saturday - Bell Mead Room
11:00-12:00 AM – Registration – welcome - get to know one another . [Hospitality Suite] 2:00-1:00 P M - Lunch
1:00-1:15 P M – Welcome and introduction to conference - Jean Kraus
1:15-1:45 P M – Meet the silentlambs board of directors [introductions and comments from each of the silentlambs board of directors]
1:45-2:15 P M – Legal Information-What is happening in the courts? – Kim Norris Break
2:30-3:30 PM -- Abuse Awareness P resentation P rogram [ P resentation of a new program to educate on abuse awareness, copies will be available as well as opportunity to access and make refinements to the program.] –William H. Bowen Break
3:45-4:30 P M – Worldwide abuse awareness not a one religion problem, what has been accomplished? [Interviews and comments from advocates and abuse survivors from around the world]
4:30-5:00 P M – Zealously P rotecting Children- Silentlambs Chapters and how to participate in promote abuse awareness in your community? [Strategy and planning for presenting the abuse problem to media and how to have proper conduct at convention sites.] Jean Kraus – William H. Bowen
Concluding song and prayer-(we could not resist)
6:30-8:30 P M – silentlambs “courage” award dinner [ P resentations, comments, good food and fellowship.] Hospitality Suite afterward
Sunday - Two Rivers Room 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM – Continental breakfast in Hospitality Suite 10:00-11:30 AM – How can we reach out to other abuse organizations? [Information regarding how to work closer with support groups such as Linkup and SNA P .
